I'm just curious, how cold does it have to get before you plug in? I mean, I'm in NW Fla and it can get all the way down to the 30's a few nights each year.

You don't have to plug in when it's in the 30's. When it gets down to the teens or below, that's when it's nice, but still not required. My o/o that was leased to me lived in upper PA. He had a generator he'd bring out to the truck on really cold days to preheat the engine for an hour or two.

Wal Mart on Rt 41 in Land O Lakes FL signed the lot overnight and towed trucks last week. Cost my son $441.00 to get his truck back. Two months ago a manager said it was ok to park there. Sunday the truck was gone. Do not believe them!

I moved to TX 4 years ago guys. I don't even know if parking is even an option over there...or if the guy even owns the lot anymore. I have attached a map so you can see where it's at. Feel free to swing by and see if it's available. It's on the NE corner of Bryan Dairy Rd and 66th St.

Because this is an older thread I won't quote the member. People need to understand something about Walmart in particular and retail outlets in general. You really need to do two things before you park and walk off. 1. You need to observe and see if other trucks are parked there and this truck and RV parking has been provided. 2. If you can't tell if this is the case do NOT ask anybody at said Walmart except the actual store manager! NOT the co-manager or any of the assistant managers. This is something that most store managers have dealt with already and will either tell you yes is OK, NO its not OK and why. A huge cross section of the country have enacted local zoning laws. I believe it is in Washington Court House Ohio where it is illegal BY CITY ORDNANCE to park a truck in the parking lots. There is signs all over stating this. There is no telling just how many Walmarts don't have a problem with parking. However there are many that either don't want you there or are prohibited by local law to do so I suggest respecting these stances or it might well cost you some money.
