Hey, sorry for tread hijack, or if this is the wrong place to post.. New to class 8 trucks.

I have a 09/'92 build date series 60 detroit, 11.1L. It has 2 spin on fuel filters. Baldwin BF5800, I believe the primary, & BF5810 the secondary. The Donaldson Blue DBF7917 looks like a good upgraded for the BF5810. Any advice for a spin on upgrade for the BF5800..?
-Should I get one that has a built in water drain at the bottom.?

The previous owner used Baldwin's for all six filters. (coolant, oil bypass & full flow x2, & fuel 1&2)
    -
Are they a good brand to stick with or should I look else where? Used to use Fleetguard on my ISB trucks.

    - Are Detroit brand filters worth buying.?
