Eaton Fuller Gen II Autoshift Troubles

when the F comes up does it throw a particular code, from the top of my head i would suggest the trans wiring harness and speed sensors but the gear selection and all are responsability of XY shifter not just the motors but also the two position sensors on the side as sometimes they do go bad and will get the truck actually stuck in gear. i dont know if you replace XY shifter or just motors the second time i have seen more than a few times that the mechanical system on these XY shifters goes to #### and the motors draw to much power trying to get in gear causing all sorts of stupid issues, i've actually had a couple of time the #### shifter finger broke and truck was showing like it was working properly just never went in any gear. so the speed sensors and harness if you have them available fine but i think your main issue is with the xy shifter whole assy and not just motors

 

2 yrs later I have a problem with Gen 2 in a freightliner, I can drive 200 miles or so and it seems something is getting hot causin two lines on gear display. Once it cools down its fine. Do you think it could be controller??

 

What did the problem end up being ? I am having the same problem
