New Years resolution

I am laughing at all the "I'm not going to be treated like a criminal", "no one can tell me what to do", and "I can't make any money if I can't easily cheat" crowd.

The ones who put in the effort to learn and run correctly may be in a good position real soon, so take the time, go out and make a few mistakes that do not cost much, and learn and enjoy.

 

I have been on ELD for a while now, and i have not seen a dip in my pay, or my hometime, usually i dont mind it at all, there are a few times where i would like the ability to flex 10 or 15 minutes here or there, but at the end of the day, its one less worry , and hasnt caused me to loose much.

 

I honestly sought this will apply to everyone. To many factors.

 

Have you saw that promised raise in pay yet??

 

I am paid on presentage, and in the last year i have seen a 2-5% raise in freight revenue or so. I did 70k this year, as a company man, and i was off 5 weeks, home just about every weekend as well.

 

I can make no promise. And nothing is a 100% sure thing. So my resolution is not to have one. I will most likely be looking for a new job.

 

So you are 1099 pay?
