What i find really really interesting over there is that the United States is one of the so called Christian countries what ever happened to the "love thy neighbour" or the golden rule "do onto others as you want done to you" seems like folks over there are starting to go pagan.

There has been many that use that faith for their own gain saying they strong Christian then sink that blade in your back while praising God, probably has been going on since man decided to twist the word, make different religions, then divide the people into separate groups so they will fight. The true Christians do not preach falsely but live to the word.

There is 1 million reasons they should not keep you there sitting for more than 2 hours or past your HOS hours, if you keep their appointment time. How about they pay for a tow truck service to tow me away so I can stay legal? Hugh?

I don't think it's so much as an industry wide problem, more a sector problem. Only a grew places where I can recall where ive been held up to the extent that ive been out of hours and was forced to leave. Seems like on the flatbed side that there are far fewer issues like this

Few if any of the places I pu and deliver to allow parking. Even in the middle of a 100 year snow storm, they will not let you in and or throw you out. Been there and done that. Pretty much the norm out here from what I have seen. But, I have also seen what truck drivers leave in parking lots.

Look, if there is a situation when they, DCs of different kinds, kick you out after unreasonable detention, which to me it is over 3 hours (the detention pay is nothing for them), regardless of whether they pay for it or not, thus forcing you out to be against HOS, they should be liable or at least co-liable for any accidents that are determined to result from a fatigue driving. If I were John Grisham, I'd write another novel about this. Maybe he lacks inspiration lately.

The fact that truck drivers can be dirty pigs is undeniable.:eek: So let them DCs have them sign affidavit of keeping clean around their trucks and a security guard check them out when they leave.
