Good question. On the other hand, it is their property and they have the right to kick you out. But if so, they should be co-liable for such things as accidents, fines imposed on a driver or carrier for violating HOS, and loss of business value, if demerit points are assigned compromising safety records and increased insurance premiums.

Yeah in other words are Christians in name only. I'd like to still think there are still some really decent people out there but where?

They do not say a word, they help and expect nothing in return. There are many but since they say nothing they are not seen, that is the way they want it. Glory is for fools.

I used to work the docks before I went into the military. This was back in the mid 90's. We started unloading and loading at 7 am. and quit by 5. Not a minute before and not a minute after. We didn't get paid by the mile and chose out line of work. Nobody sat and slacked when there was work to do and there was management. Far too often was there not enough room for all the customers in the yard let alone for our own trucks to navigate. We didn't allow trucks to get loaded and than stay the night at our establishment either. This was back when people cheated logs.We would direct them to the nearest turnpike on ramp. Let one guy do it, they all will do it. Next thing you know, its a truckstop. That sign to me was NOT an attitude problem. IT was a sign displaying that they have had enough of the question already and leave me the hell alone with the question sign. Day in and day out asking the question. They have work to do and get fed up with the nonsense and don't care about truckers life problems.

I wander in to places that have signs in the Men's room not to poop on the floor, and NOT to throw your TP on the floor after using it... ;-) Go TRUMP!
