In addition to block heater and pan heater a trickle charger draws very little juice and helps with cold weather starts keeping batteries at 100%. Electric battery blankets are another option.

That is one of my challenges. Im not sure where the issue is, it seems when it's low humidity that battery dries out enough to kill the charge... when cold.

I have a Webasto engine coolant heater flip the switch one hour before I'm ready to get out of bed engine readyfor start at 160 degrees

I can't comment because there will be a few that will tell me I don't know what I'm doing and that I'm wrong.

Ha, yep plastic. Still can do it just have to keep a close eye on it.

I used a tiger torch sitting in a stove pipe plus a tarp over the engine one time. Worked good.

Get a block heater, like this https://www.amazon.com/Zerostart-35...8&qid=1514754748&sr=8-5&keywords=block+heater
Or, a Tri-Pac APU... That is what I use. Truck starts right up. Keeps the batteries charged too... Been running around 0* here, truck sat for a week, started right up.

yes, That was the guys problem. He didn't watch it... 5 brand new trucks in a line. Thankfully it was the only one that burnt to the ground.
