I've thought the same, going back on the road w the wife riding shotgun when I retire from my teamster gig.
Don't have a union pension but a couple others in my future but the med benefits would be a big savings till my government bennies kick in.
Wife wants me to retire and move to a more temperate climate like KY, but after 44 yrs of truckin I don't know if i could command a recliner

I am actually getting ready to replace one of my chairs with a proper plush recliner, nothing too outrageous, just a basic cloud able to recline to tredlenburg position when necessary.

I'll try to cheer you up. I turned 66 December 18, just got my CLP today and start training on Monday. I am looking forward to a new career (not getting back in as you are) with the goal in a couple of years to start a company and get son and daughter involved.

Think I have gotten a fairly good take on you in the time I've been here ( No worries, very good take, always).
No way my money is ever going to be on you becoming a cubicle rat! No way, no how.... I just don't ever see that happening.
