Truckinguru, how long have you worked for Keen.What kind of loads and mile do you get.Also how much work does Keen do in and around michigan,and can you tell me if they will substatute local driving for the 2yr min O.T.R.

 

Ragold can you tell us what company you work for...

 

yea i know that BAE systems build APC's up here and i dont know what else is up here. I seen Keen trucks hauling new CAT equipment around here. I know that I have a couple years before I will get my own truck and trailer. Has the heavy haul industry been good to you? Any complaints?

I have one customer I haul for.

 

It's been great for me.
And a PIA at times

The Keen folks I talk to seem to be happy.
I don't know if they have to load there own stuff or not.
I do

I don't know if they they will train you if you don't have any HH/OD experience
You may have to do a local gig.
Theres a couple of big crane makers up that way.

 

Ragold do you know of any companies in florida or that do work down here

 

I spent the past three summers hauling farm machinery, combines, tractors, and grain carts, but I dont think that they would be interested in that would they. I didnt know that there were big crane makers up here!

 

They (Keen) just delivered a Cat 988 front end loader to the coal breaker I work at on Thursday and Friday. Tires and bucket arrived Thursday, the main machine came Friday,and lets just say there was a whole lot more than a few chains involved on the second load. It basically came on a low boy and a half...

 

Yea I knew they hauled some big stuff, I drive a coal bucket for now and I past a Keen truck hauling a 773 off road truck past me, havent a clue where they are goin.
