I have seen that crap before.

In my mega days I delivered to a Von's warehouse in NY. I saw a driver do that and I thought it was just stupid. But I have seen stupid before, and even seen that before. But while sitting their not making crap with on detention, I saw driver after driver for Von's back their trailer up like that. It is like they all got trained and hired by the same person that didn't know crap. So goes it at the grocery warehouse where you hire your brother-in-law before you hire talent.

 

and i'd be falling down as well, but laughing my arse off...

try that backing during any road test (DMV or job) , let's see the doofus get a CDL license or a job.

@x1Heavy this is what he's talking about. There's a really cool documentary on the building of the hoover dam. These Cats would stand up in their trucks and face the rear and drive with their feet to back the trucks in to where they needed to be. Pretty impressive and way outside of OSHA standards today. No surprise that there were so many killed in the building of the Dam.

Actually that's not a bad idea i used to do this although i wouldn't actually stand outside the truck i'd just open up the door and look out what ever it takes to make it easier to reverse the down side to his method is how does he stop it? I would be abit worried if he was reversing next to me that's for sure.
