@Tb0n3 ..
That's true. You use a weapon, even in self defense, you're likely going inside for awhile.
That's what carry insurance is for.
USCCA on call 24/7
Innocent until proven guilty is ,sadly, a fallacy. You'll be strung up.. so you'd better be certain.
It's still best to never have to use it.
I sure don't want to. I watch what i do and where i go.
My biggest concern is what happens while I'm asleep.
That's when we're completely vulnerable.

I carry when I go out of state... and when driving in state too. In Colorado your vehicle is considered the same as "your home". Last time I got stopped in Colorado I told the trooper I have a fire arm... He took the magazine out of my gun and said no problem.
Gotta look at each state law when traveling. I know my hand gun is not California compliant. When I was in North Dakota I realized you cannot have a loaded fire arm in your vehicle.... I took out my magazine and stuck it in my tool box and put my gun under my bed in the sleeper. I probably wouldn't have been in a hurry to tell a cop I have a gun if I got stopped. Most of state patrol is more interested in inspecting the truck and our log books anyways. -
Volunteer nothing. Law enforcement is not your friend. Coming from an ex-cop.

the best thing is if you do, keep your mouth shut, do not take it to Canada no since of humor about handguns at all.

Man, we should all rally together and try to get an amendment to our constitution that allows the right to bear arms, for defense, not just hunting and such..............
dhellmer, jraulpilot1998, 91B20H8 and 5 others Thank this. -
You are required to be legal in every jurisdiction you travel through and to. The only 2 ways to be legal everywhere is be a current/retired cop with a badge or be unarmed. Many or most trucking companies prohibit firearms in their trucks.
Don't ask, don't tell.jraulpilot1998, jammer910Z and Oldironfan Thank this. -
Or get them to enforce the second as it was intended. To be in the hands of every American to keep our Nation safe from threats foreign and Domestic. That ship has sailed long ago.
It was intended as a warning. Most asking this question have a cowboy mindset. You aren't Dirty Harry, and nobody is out to get you, but if you need it you #### well better be prepared for prison.91B20H8, jammer910Z and Coover Thank this. -
Your statement bothers me. It's only your opinion.OldRed98 Thanks this.
