Wow, insurance is a lot. Do you have a really good plan? He currently has everything including dental and pays $12 a week. So I figured your miles were about 3111 it so. Is 5hat right? What do you consistently get approx in miles. My husband doesn't want to change jobs again but he just can't keep dealing with a broke down truck and waiting a day after he drops a load. It's crazy!!!

I have an excellent plan, IMO. That was a good week. 3k something. I don't remember exactly. The first few years I figured the miles for the year with the time I was out and it averaged out to 2500 to 2700 a week. We dont sit much as a general rule. But it does happen. Some of the plants take a long time to load and unload.

Oh ok. Good money overall. Beyer than average. No problems on the road I.e. scales, weather etc?. I run local now but seriously considering going line. Need to know pros and cons. Thx

Uh, I'm happy with the money. We have prepass and a good record and get mostly green lights. Weather? I'm gonna guess you mean pressure to keep going when it's bad, no. Your call. Just let them know.
I've been driving, with a few breaks in time, since 1987 and I'm as happy here as anywhere I've ever been.
Cons. Communication is lacking at times. Would like to go west more.

I drove with them 4 years ago and they are an excellent company. I left so I could run west and drive better equipment. They keep their trucks too long in my opinion. Penske does a good job but 5-6 year old trucks tend to break quite often, at least mine did. Tell Jerimiah that Chris said hello.

Still on the fence about this one and another. Leaning toward the other. I prefer this one but he is leaning the other way...

Do you run out of Berwick? Are you home every day?

Been here a little over 8 years now. 3 weeks paid vacation at 8 years now. .52cpm. 3 paid personal days. Revamped the bonus program to where you will get one as long as you don't screw up.
We got new trucks at the end of the year. New Cascadia's. While I can still recommend the company I cannot the trucks. It may be due to my age but this thing keeps me aggravated all the time. All auto's locked in. Can't go to manual. Locked into economy mode. Trucks are sluggish and under perform. Lane departure buzzing at you, radar in front beeping at you, side radar tweeting at you. It makes for a really aggravating day. Every day.
