Man, they weren't joking when they said parking out here on the west coast is crap. Gotta run cabbage in the dark, dropping at Mclanes in tualatin at 12:30am, then hoping to red eye through seattle. Theres like one pilot on the way to my pick-up so hoping to fuel there and then I found a walmart with parking confirmed. Grocery shopping makes everything better!

 

As you’re heading into Portland hit the Pilot on 84, that should do you fine...

 

Thats what I was thinking buddy. Ill top off at the pilot before cabbage, then hit the one by olympia to top off again and check my clock to make sure I can make it to the walmart. Still dont have an appt time, but if time allows, i might be able to get a 34 in at that walmart because the cabellas right next door has truck parking too.

 

Well had a level 1 in Wisconsin Sunday...passed everything except for the crack in the windshield...he wouldn’t let me be great. Picked up yesterday in Gaylord and bringing a load to San Antone. Gotta try and get the windshield fixed I guess while I am down there since it might be warm. Yesterday was craziness...trailer tandems wouldn’t slide, trailer I picked up was low on fuel...today was way better.

 

Ahhhhh the life of a truck driver.........

How’s the west treating you? Did you enjoy the scenery?

 

I did it all read eye so I wasnt able to fully take it in but i thought Oregon was amazing. I got lucky with weather on my way out. I pick up tomorrow morning and hoping to get out of here with little issues. Seattle was a pain. Just taking one day at a time buddy. My load is going to denver PA. Something like 3k miles I believe?
