Yes...
That action right from the Start, during Training, no communication, leaving, probably after a short Analysis they would feel that, your reactions under "Stress" are questionable. Wish you well. Again, you are only human, maybe If you go back and explain yourself maybe they will grant you an oportunity. Never loose HOPE...!! -
It's a shame you never talked to a boss before taking off. A few words about the emergency and Im pretty sure they would have made arrangements.
If they choose to remember you, they will. Im pretty sure Ive a few dispatchers who remember me after 30 plus years. as in: "Oh THAT LITTLE &^%$#" LOL...
Don't worry there is always something somewhere eventually. Only this time you might be under a load and you will NOT be in a position to quit and take off leaving it. That is one of the liability with family back home. There are things they will just have to do as best as they can without you. -

Not sure why you wouldn't tell anyone? However i don't believe giving the circumstances that its the end of your career, i assume your talking about going back to the same company? If you could bring evidence of the incident to prove what happened was true, that would certainly help, and hopefully someone in there will give you another go.
