Below are a couple more links to expedite your search for calls, they are for Schneider and ARC Best (ABF). There are probably more companies offering recorded calls but I only occasionally listen to those two companies along with the Knight/Swift call I mentioned in a earlier post.

Hey guys I've been like away for a while. I'll be back soon over on my other thread we were drawing up the blue prints for a Convenient Food Mart Empire.
Mike_77, 4mer trucker and HalpinUout Thank this. -
@Mike_77
How common is this kind of set up in Oregon? I guess it's allowed.
I guess they can do this and run triples with it I've seen pictures. Actually this plus 3 trailers that'd be heavy that's quite a bit it'd be over 80,000lbs. Could be as heavy as 100,000lbs. -
What's interesting is I don't know of any law that says you can't run truck and trailer set ups here in Ohio. I've not seen any law that says there not allowed. Obviously I can't go over certain lengths, but I don't know why they would be considered illegal.
B-Trains aren't illegal yet the steel haulers are the only ones who use them.
Toronto Canada the B-Trains are used for everything up in Ontario Province they don't really pull to many A train doubles like here in the states. But they love there 33' B-Trains.
Here's my companies Canadian division pulling B-Trains on the 405 In Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is the Milton, Ontario transit run:

Very common in Oregon. One of the reasons is these can be backed up. I've seen guys put these in loading docks as fast as a semi driver could. Rocky Mountain doubles (maxis) are big out there,a full semi and a pup trailer, 105,500. gross.

My first full time driving job was a 85 Freightliner COE truck and trailer. For the most part in this area truck and trailers are not used much anymore by for hire general freight operations. It's my understanding that the refer& dry van truck and trailers fell out of favor in the early 1970's, I can't say I've ever seen one firsthand. Flatbed operations were slower to discontinue the use of the truck and trailer configuration, with A few Flat bed companies still using them through the early 2000's. I can't recall seeing a for hire flat bed truck and trailer going down the road in the last few years. In this area vocational operations like Fuel haulers, log haulers and dirt haulers still use the truck and trailer configuration, see above pictures.Last edited: Jan 19, 2018
