Living down in Anderson I don’t get up that way much

 

You know what I noticed, the truck stop was designed with normal dimensions, but they added the STUPID shore power units later that not one trucker uses and that made it so you can't back the rear tandems to the curb. Basically, it is the result of people who don't drive trucks thinking truckers will PAY for shore power. They built it so close to the curb that they had to put the cement barriers right at the curb, which in turn makes everyone's front end stick out way farther than the parking lot was designed for.

I have even thought about trying to talk to someone in charge of the location and ask them why they did something and if anyone has ever used the shore power and if they would consider removing them. But that would just be a waste of time on my part. I opened the door to one of the shore power boxes only to find a hornets nest. lol Gotta love California.
