Truck driver killed in rearend collision on I 459 in Bessemer, AL

Ive been in that area before. Delievered off that exit. Not the best area for traffic.

 

Bout an 40 min from my hometown..my great great aunt ran some legendary bootlegs in Bessemer for decades. RIP MS Gladys

Really isnt much info on the wreck. Other than we can presume the dead driver wasnt paying attention.

This is probably the 3rd or 4th Wreck Involving a National Carriers truck in less than a MONTH. Wonder if they plan to slow their trucks down.

 

Dang, don't look like he slowed down at all. I hate to see this stuff happen, but it's good for the newer drivers to take note. Maybe some of us older hands too.

Governing down the trucks wont stop this from happening...drivers need to start paying attention to what's in front of them..
