I don't understand the question ??
-
Not a question . Just a rant when it comes to the new mandate . I had 8 hrs in the sleeper , and 6 hrs driving . I then still had to take a 10 hr break in order to get a restart , of course I wasn't tired . I basically was in the sleeper for 8 hrs . So after my 10hr break I was late for my del .

So you are forced to finally follow HOS (and realize how bad they really are, when followed)?
You have a point, or did you mispost and mean to put this in Rants?nightgunner Thanks this. -
Forced to follow , and it's tough !!!
-
Wouldn’t you rather have a maximum 14 hour work day and 10 uninterrupted hours off instead of being coerced to work 24 hours a day and grabbing a nap here and there?freightwipper and Prof.Gringo Thank this.

I hear you , but our conditions are so unfavorable for truckers . Also not to mention shippers , and receivers not on the same page . It's a convenience factor when a driver has the ability to gauge traffic , road conditions at your convenience .
Justrucking2 Thanks this. -
You know you can do an 8/2 split breakMattflat362 and nightgunner Thank this.
-
that's a easy question to answer.......NO! btw its my name on the door im not coerced into anything.exhausted379, Justrucking2, Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this.

Plus, why did you sit for 8 hours for free?
You either need to learn how to write a contract to benefit your company, or you got paid for 8 hours to do nothing....magoo68, Jazz1 and nightgunner Thank this.
