I generally always pull my curtains as soon as I park for the night. However, whether I did or did not, I'm not going to stare out my side window at the person next to me. If they choose to, and the fact that I'm sitting there bothers them, that's on them.
There are some mentally unstable drivers out here..

I am generally never window to window with other drivers. Trailers I pull are shorter than 53 ft. and I don't like my hood sticking out beyond the hoods of these modern day wanna be conventional glorified cabovers that are so popular. The problem is, that puts me in a position where that guy pulling the reefer blasting on high speed all night and decides he doesn't like his current parking spot and drives around the parking lot o find the guy with the truck shut off sleeping like a baby, ya, puts my sleeper right next to his reefer.
Trucker61016 and Lepton1 Thank this. -
I parked at Flying j Winslow, AZ last night. around 8pm old kenworth with reefer parked next to me. The reefer was starting up every 45min-1 hour. it was old reefer and was noisy. two hours later when it was cold he fired engine of the truck. the truck was purging air every 30-40 seconds... I have ear plugs in the truck for this kind of situations. ...another driver may find different approach for this kind of situations..

I prefer to park in “quiet zones”.

See, I don't complain when people park next to me and idle their engines all night.. It's trucking and truck stops are noisy places..
If people expect to park alone with no other trucks around them, well they need to find somewhere else to park other than a truck stop.
That or drive all night and sleep in the day when the lots are cleared out.cybill234, Grubby, runningman0661 and 7 others Thank this. -

Ah, remember the good ole days before elogs when the feller with the noisy reefer and the truck constantly spitting air would only take a 4 hour 10 hour break beside you and leave?Hammer166, stayinback, Grubby and 1 other person Thank this.
