Can't tell you how many times I would have
loved to do this.
That 4 wheeler will think twice the next time
he tries to pull that stunt.

From the video I saw I don't see where the truck driver did anything wrong. He's holding his lane and his speed. And as for the post above the truck driver did do something he moved into the right lane! The four wheeler was completely wrong!!! The truck moved over which I guess is what the entitled 4wheeler wanted! What else was the driver supposed to do??
x1Heavy, HalpinUout and 48Packard Thank this. -
I watched the video again. I was on the phone when I viewed it the first time and didn’t really focus totally. I stand corrected on that point.

I have brought three cars across my steel bumpers (Plural)
And there have been a small number of other vehicles in the way and no longer are a problem when 34000 pounds of tandem nudges them loose. A little crunch time takes care of the lesson not to park there. (I hate it, such a softie I am.. ha...)
But that PIT is perfectly executed. A tap, add 200 rpm in power and over he goes from that corner. Note that tap did not really move the loaded truck one whit but rocked that sob.Lepton1, BigBob410, Western flyer and 2 others Thank this. -
You've hit 3 cars, your trucks been shot.... They just keep coming.

The trucker should have backed out of it and got some distance. He maybe not at fault but it will still be a preventable accident, as there were definitely something he could have reasonably done to prevent it from happening. And that video will prove that.

....wow! So, did anyone else see the Subaru driver position himself to be struck by the truck? I watched it a couple times and saw the Subaru;
1. Move to the right to block the truck.
2. Increase speed, then
3. Tap brake
4. Decrease speed (as though the driver let off the accelerator)
5. Subaru moves left then right slightly, before it is struck
IMHO- there is very little the truck driver could do to prevent this; anything less than fully depressing the brake (possibly locking wheels and potentially jack-knifing the rig causing other drivers to be in danger) would not have stopped the Subaru driver from intentionally putting his vehicle in harms way, to receive a “bump” from the truck striking the Subaru. Which appeared to be the intention from the time when he passed on the right then braked in front of the truck in the left lane. -
Yaking on the phone and just camping out in the left lane.... No, no problem there.
Finally moving over to the right lane but still over the zipper while creeping up on the 4-wheeler.
It takes two to tango. -
Looks like they're on i90 westbound heading into Missoula, no mountain downgrade there but wet roads possibly freezing in January trucker possibly not wanting to slam brakes or jake. But he was riding the zipper while creeping up to the 4 wheeler. Judging by the name of driver and language, guessing eastern European or Russian, they usually don't put up will BS on the road
x1Heavy and Toomanybikes Thank this.
