You'll also see an entry for my bonus, that was my last quarter and yearly safety bonus. Only drove 4 months for them in 2017, so my yearly bonus, which is 3% kid the entire years safety bonus, isn't great, but anything works for me. If you do the math, that one month amount works out to over 90k in a year. Assuming I make that month over month. Most likely no, I'll make closet to 75k

That’s still more than most of the country makes. Definitely nothing to scoff at

You have any info on the owner op side of things? I’m interested in getting my feet wet with oversized loads. I’m about 170 miles away from their terminal in Baton Rouge. Saw on the website they take students? I’ve got 4 years experience all open deck with a clean record but I’ve been running team with a buddy of mine for about a year and looking to put him in a truck. What’s their requirements as in driving record and experience? He’s got a couple tickets over the last few years. What type of normal flatbed freight do y’all normally haul and is it generally all otr or do different terminals have certain lanes?
Sorry about the bombardment of questions. I stumbled across this thread accidentally and until then I had no idea about this company so my research is lacking at the moment.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

For owner ops itt depends on what you want to haul. We have our brokerage side which is where most of our owner ops run, the yard for that side is based out of mosine, they all have their own trailers, most of that freight is general freight, not as much od stuff, but it pays well. Lots of Koehler and generac generators, we are the in house carrier for Koehler. Generac is right down the road from there. I wanna say the percentage is around 80%, I don't know the exact percentages so don't quote me on that. The owner ops who want to haul our trailers which is where our largest freight is will use our trailers.if you like you can send me a private message with your email address and I'll forward you the owner op forms that detail the fees and requirements.

Appreciate all the info. I read your original post about starting with them. Seems like a really good company to work. They’ve definitely peaked my interest.
