Sadly enough, Roehl had about 1/3 more accidents this year than they did the previous year, and the year's not over yet. I guess that's what happens when you starve veteran drivers out of miles and replace them with more students.

I hear that CMoore. I use to work at Roehl. My first trainer was an O/O. He has a lease thru them. I still talk to him from time to time. He had to give them the "get me more miles or else" speech the other week. He said it has gotten really rough for him there lately. He is really considering turning in his truck and being a company driver elsewhere.

Well lets see...according to the safestat data i just researched..... in 9/22/06 Roehl had 158 state reported crashes for the last 30 months while running 1661 units. on 11/22/08 Roehl had 158 state reported crashes for the last 30 months while running 1888 units. it would seem to me that the accident rate is "de" creasing not increasing. :biggrin_25511:

Over a 30-month period it's still lower, perhaps, but in the calendar year it's higher than 2008.

Congrats on passing your tests! Don't blame you on the passenger endorsement.

A lot of companies have their own group of doctors set up to do their physicals.

    bowmeyer1 Thanks this.

Hmmm... According to most of my sources, 50 of the 86 critical crashes were by "experienced" or "veteran" drivers. The cause, trying to push the envelope and getting too complaicent with what they thought the can do.....

Be safe out there and good luck to you...
