12 years. I replaced it as it was economical to rebuild the whole truck, as it was all original, when the motor went. I bought a used glider that I hope to get 12 years out of as well.

We have a '71 Pete that we bought brand new. It started out as a highway truck hauling lumber, then a tanker, then was made into a lowboy tractor, then it was rigged to haul logs and now it's a water truck.
LOL...it's all original except for a couple of engine replacements, half a dozen transmissions, both frame rails being replaced, two sleepers, both doors, many many windshields, a few rear ends, several drivelines, a new front axle, two paint jobs, and three different kinds of suspension. I think we put about twenty front bumpers on it and a fender or two along the way.
You know, just the usual stuff.
I doubt we'll ever replace it.Zaros, Grubby, rollin coal and 2 others Thank this. -
Father is up to 23, hoping to get 2 more years out of his before he hangs up the keys.
