Parking at the consignee on a rain-free evening and untarp before they open. Has anyone doing this ever had a problem such as being accused of not tarping? I like to get my work done early but sometimes wonder if it could be a problem.

I've removed my tarps once like that, took pictures of the load in front of their building to show I tarped it just to cover my ###. glad I did, because they tried to claim I didn't tarp it
-
I tried that once...the falling dew that night was exceptionally heavy making puddles on the I beams lol, only thing that was said was they didn't know why it'd been tarped in the first place lol.
Just got lucky that timeIluvCATS Thanks this. -

The one time I did that, the customer made sure to see that I never took a load there again. Even though the weather was fine. -
On high value loads, they will want giftwrap pictures on both ends of the journey.

Nah, if they requested it tarped they can wait the half hour or so for you to untarp it in morning.
If they are in that big of a hurry, they will help you untarp it.TripleSix, tucker, x1Heavy and 1 other person Thank this.
