OK first off it isn't the end of the world, not everyone can be LS BCO so a lot more fish in the sea when it comes to companies.

I would have not said a word about it, I know you thought it was the right thing to do but sometimes when the damage is to your truck and no one knows about it, maybe ... just a suggestion no one knows about it.

LS is anal about things, I went through crap with a bad inspection in Delaware, the only truck pulled in for inspection for that day, they could not figure out what to ding me on and they decided that the hose and ABS wiring wasn't secured right on the steers, even though it was properly done. So I had to deal with LS re-inspection of the truck, the paper work to confirm it was fixed and another recheck a month later so I get it.

A friend had his truck fail a road side the same day he had his LS mandatory inspection and they made him jump through hoops to get back into service. Four times he was re-inspected and told if he had one more road side with a violation, he would be kicked.

You will find another company, and get your truck repaired, forget about what happened and be careful.

They had or still have bull crap policy’s. They told me I had to have an eld put on my truck and this was 5 years ago but at the time there were no compatible eld’s for a mechanical engine so they told me to switch engines.Their office personnel are trained monkeys and no nothing except what they’ve been told about Trucking.

I would never reported it, unless there was some damage to a bridge structure. My damage, my business. How about knocking a few low hanging tree brunches in an area that Landstar want you to go to. Would they fire someone over this too?
