Brand new truck caught fire

Again still not buying it. Engineer's don't design trucks this way. Very hard to believe.

 

I agree. Unless the fuse was rated too high for the wire gauge. Have seen wires melt because of that.

i am wondering why it took 4.5 months for this to happen. given the shaking, flexing and such going on all those miles, that thing should have gone "poof" much sooner. i can see a hot wire melting itself, and the surrounding wires, but all wiring runs thru panels made of materials that can easily ignite, causing a catastrophic fire.

well, at least you are up and running again, i hope that a good attorney can help you, but as you know, this can be yet another 23 months or several years, till you get anything. they got the money to keep this locked up in the courts a long, long time. if you do not show up for any court dates, in most cases if your attorney cannot talk for you, meaning that YOU must explain things in court, you may forfeit by default. .

This poster keeps asking this every few weeks. What he wants is an ambulance chaser type lawyer on consignment. None will take the case as it's simply an insurance claim.
He will have to pay a lawyer and is unwilling to spend the money.

 

My guess he is mad they never wrote the truck off and just fixed it... lol

And it took as long as it did because there was a big on going investigation.

But what do I know.??, other then if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck , it' is ussally a duck. Just sayin.
