I'm trying figure out of you're asking what happens to the atlas if you are in a dead zone or the GPS? Haven't come across a dead zone yet for my GPS and I'm sorry, if your atlas has dead zones you have much bigger things to worry about!

 

Dang I don’t have a detailed atlas for everywhere I may go. Hitting up amazon now. I’m new to this so thank God 4 u all lol
