hello, have a 2001 Columbia with a c12 cat. Changed the starter the other day and now trucks not charging. The new starter has a updated module on it so I hooked everything up the same except my small wire to old selinoid I hooked to that module that bolts on selinoid. Truck starts right up no problem just isn’t charging now. Idk if alt took a crap or if it has something to do with with way this new starter hooks up. Maybe someone has any idea or knowledge on the subject. Thanks in advance

Typically the starter solenoid stud is where the alternator wire connects to on a lot of engines in trucks and equipment. I'd double check that you didn't accidentally miss a wire when you replaced the starter.

    What AMODLE CAT said.
It is a very rare occasion that a component goes bad directly after you worked on another component.
Go back over the work you just did and you will find it.
Also make sure you hooked up every wire in the battery box if you disconnected them.
