Yeah, it's kind of crazy. They sent it to an outside shop and all they did was balance the steer tires. I'm getting out of here tomorrow, one way or another.

They need to get someone in a position, outside the truck, to see if the wheels are bouncing up and down, or side it side.

Given this ordeal I would want a different truck. This is not a common problem.

Your description here sounds like a loose joint in the steering system.... Drag link, tie rod? Going crazy after hitting a pothole

Unless I'm reading it wrong.... Your description sounds like a loose joint in the steering. If hitting a pothole brings it to the forefront that's a dead giveaway of something loose. Doesn't take much especially on a tierod end. I've had trucks nearly pull the wheel out of my hands when test driving, usually after hitting a rough spot in the road too. Sure hope you get it figured out, be safe out there.

These knuckleheads are fixing the wheel seal which they replaced last week. Omg! It broke from the rattling during road testing and isn't the flipping problem.

Spoke with my shop mechanic and I'm going to baby it back to him. It might take me 2 days to run the 600 ish miles, but enough is enough.
