O/O is something I'd like to get into in the future and I'm currently in the research phase of that transition. My current step is figuring out the start up cost. Then the operating cost once I start running. Ty

TruckPaper
It’ll be used, probably won’t be too good.
Hope you’re a good mechanic.
Better question is how much capital do you have. And what kind of hauling you’re looking to get into.
We need much more information from you.
Are you a driver now?
No one can give you an intelligent answer with the info you provided.Last edited: Feb 26, 2018

Understandable. I can only see myself buying an older truck and having repairs done when they are needed. That's the way (uh huh uh huh) I've done with my personal vehicles and that's the way I'm sticking to.

I have 10 months dry van experience. I'm about to go into food grade tanker. So I'm open to dry van/reefer or tanker (my O/O adventure is years in the future and I would have gained a couple years tanker experience when I decide to start going O/O). This also gives me plenty of time to save so I might be looking at budget of around 15k just for a truck (possibly a tanker/trailer as well).
I'm from California but looking to move to Texas panhandle before I start my O/O adventure.
