yes the hrs of service that elogs enforce need to be changed, i dont care if its paper or electronic, its all rubbish, the only reason drivers didnt complain when we began paper logs is because you could ignore the rubbish lol

 

Ask any driver on the road.
If your at your 11th hour and you are 30 minutes from the house.
Are you going to park or go to the house?
10/10 are going to the house

You are so full of ####. I don't need welfare, I want the rules to be applied equally to everyone across the board. HOS regulations didn't change, the only thing that went away is the ability to cook paper logs. Now instead of being at a disadvantage when competing with those that routinely broke the law, everyone has to follow the same rules. The only ones I see unhappy about it are the ones that have been skirting the HOS regulations for years. I am guessing you are one of them.

 

I don't know why drivers arent rioting in the streets over these elogs just wasting our time an money

But if you get caught, you best own it like a man.
Have I done that? You would be stupid if you think I haven't ran the clock out, plus more. Or threw the book in the sleeper and ran around the cashboxes. Times have changed for everyone. Including me. Now HOS do not apply to me.

Good grief the industry did not just all of a sudden get a bunch of butt munchers in Dec. 33% of the folks behind the wheel have no business driving an off road cart let alone a semi truck. Shipper schedules, insane dock times, pure #### laziness can be blamed but a device that simply tracks when your driving can not effect how you drive.

Not all 3000 comments were in support of their request. The roughly 20 I submitted can be summed up with they need to pit their big boy panties on and deal with it.
