Hey guys, my name's Ian and I just got approved today to attend orientation with Dynamic Transit on July 5th. Currently working for Knight Transportation running on their Portland to Alberta Fleet. I've been a regional / OTR driver for about three and a half years now and have been following dynamic ever since I got my CDL. In my opinion Knight is a great company to work for they really do treat you like family. However I've realized that I'm just not making enough money, for my situation. I put my application in on Monday afternoon spoke to my recruiter Alaina yesterday morning and found out that I was approved for orientation today.
But here's what I know now that might help other people out. The current pay is .45 CPM but if you have Hazmat and tanker they bump you up to .55 CPM. And if you actually haul a Hazmat Placarded load they pay you .60 CPM. Which the Hazmat that they haul is paint for Sherwin-Williams and syrup for Coca Cola . I was told by my recruiter that they still have no cameras and trucks are governed at 70 miles per hour. I also got some PDFs on insurance information which I will include a picture so other drivers can know what to expect for insurance costs. I'll check in with y'all again when I start orientation.

Sadly I live in Massachusetts BUT I may go there. The home time for me would be 2 months running then home. I like the .55 then .60 for Hazmat then 63.00 daily for per diem. I really liked what they said. Anyone else? -
Back in the day it was big miles. The question is how many miles week can you get. -
