Glad you're still here with us. RIP to your dog. This made me sad. Again I'm very glad you're OK holy #### what a wreck !!!!xlsdraw, Streetroddreams, A21CAV and 4 others Thank this. -
I am sorry to hear about your incident and your puppy. I commend you for returning to the industry after an accident like that. I don't know if I could do the same. This type of incident is the reason why I have a dash cam and would just have hit the other car that is causing the incident. I hope you find a way to come to terms with your experience and find a way to happiness again.
justcarhaulin, xlsdraw, Woodys and 7 others Thank this. -
May I ask you what type of dash cam are you using, and how is the quality at night, can you read the numbers at night?Steel Dragon Thanks this.

How do you know they were trying to get hit “to get Christmas money”?
And did you have to complete the SAP to return to work? Hopefully the insurance company didn’t deny your claim because of the failed drug test. Those insurance companies will refuse payment any chance they get.Steel Dragon Thanks this. -
Happens fast, don't it? I'm glad you are ok, but there's a lesson to be learned here. That was a crummy day, for sure. Next time, if there ever will be a next time, stay in your lane and knock them into next week,,,

You say you’ve been driving eight years with plenty of fender benders. I’ve been out here 22 years with no accidents, maybe this industry isn’t for you.
-
Fender benders could mean anything from a bent bumper to taking a mirror off. We've all had our share. This, however, is pretty catastrophic, and can happen to anyone in a blink of an eye, as missj found out. Makes her an experienced driver, now she knows what can happen. Happened to me once (before the 3 million safe miles after the crash)xlsdraw, BlackThought and Steel Dragon Thank this.

Glad you're ok.
Just from the emotion in your writing you likely need more time to decompress.
That was a brush with death and it sticks with some harder than others.
There's no shame in that.
It's the way we're built.
Some good cognitive therapy would probably help you to be able to compartmentalize all of those emotions and put them where they belong instead of just rambling around like marbles in a shoe box.
Get your head screwed on straight where you can perform 100% and come join us.Just passing by, xlsdraw, jraulpilot1998 and 2 others Thank this. -
Truck driving is a pretty dangerous job considering the time spent on the roads.
Long hours and short pay.
Yet nobody ever thinks about this aspect when buying a truck.
One accident can end your career or life...do you feel lucky punk?
201 Thanks this.
