I had a decent conversation with a distant truck driver and his driving buddy that was following behind him in another truck he asked me what kind of radio I was talking on I told him a Stryker 655 and a Astatic 636 microphone. Him and his buddy stated to me over the radio I had a great sounding radio and I replied thank you and they're radio's sounded good to.
Conversations like this I miss around here the locals act like idiots on channel 19 constantly ruining it for everyone else who need to talk on that channel for whatever reason. I manly use the radio when traveling or just around town.
What kind of radio do you talk on? Do you miss something about CB Radio?
What's the location of the big radio
