This economy and the way it is and hearing and reading all the stories after my stint with Roehl and how everyone is suffering has been bringing me down lately. Even though I have a good hourly day job now, I still feel bad for everyone and everything on here has sounded like a horror story lately.

I guess it's really hard for everyone to lighten up a little this holiday season. And I understand why.

 

Kinda like my hubby does every time he comes home! Little longer distance to drive for us though, but not too much.

 

Ok, under the fcra, you have the right to rebut anything, they have to send notification to the company that you are disputing this claim. The company has 45 days to respond to the rebuttle, if they do not, under the law, it has to be removed.

 

We're all itchin to know, did you do it? and if you get it cleaned up, how bout a post giving us the gory details.

 

Take the advice from pawpaw it is good and correct! You must comunicate the issue to DAC by phone, the info is on there website. Also if a company go's out of business DAC will remove and not display any reporting info from that company. I personally worked for two companies that went under and that info was removed but in my case it was good reports so I wish they kept it there but they dident. Also stay up on your DAC, it's like your credit so request your free report every year so you know whats on it! Also tell DAC that you want a copy sent to you every time some one request info on you from. They will send that as well free. Thats what I do!

 

So it's like a credit report covered under the FCRA.... Hmmmm .....
If information can not be verified, it legally can not be reported.
If it is would that be a case of reporting false information for which you could sue the reporting agency ????
Just wondering about that.

2 jobs in 4 years? I've had 3 jobs in 1 year this year! However, one of them is a temp agency that every time i work a day for them, they'll extend my employment record to that date...from the date that i first worked for them...so i show as having never been unemployed...
