    Any way around it instead of going up 57 and then down 24?in charleston now,can you get off on mounds exit in il and run 37,169 to us45 then to I-24?

    37 and 45 are class 1 truck routes, so you'll be fine running them. 169 is designated a class 3 truck route, which used to have 96" width and 72,380 gross restrictions, and the KPRA was a little shorter (42'6" ). Few years back state law changed to allow 102" & 80K throughout the state, so the weight and width restrictions no longer apply...but there is still a 65' overall length limit and shorter KPRA...but of course that only matters IF you meet a cop AND he knows about the restrictions.
