My last truck I did full pm every 25,000 then I had a mechanic that would check it out once a month if he saw anything I would fix it or he would tell me to keep eye on it for next check he only charged me $20 sometimes nothing he new I was a stickler about my truck I hated to break down on the road he told me he would come get me for something major and fix it he is real nice guy and great mechanic

Getting it up in shape can be expensive. Since you have a good mechanic take him with you. Drop you pm to 10k intervals grease it every 5k grease and oil is too cheap to go 25k

The broker I use has several new Emissons engine. All the oil intervals are done 10k period. These are Paccars and Cummins.Grubby, Broke Down 69 and wore out Thank this.

Yea my last truck I bought new it had dd15 it was like $400+ for a full pm I did 25000 but freightliner said change every 50,000 but my mechanic said 25 was good for a new truck like I had that's why I did every 25,000 he said more miles less time on a pm I didn't even have 300,000 when I totaled my truck

On a side note.... they are no longer buying Paccar engines.... all Cummins on Pete’s....
