You’d have to change the brake spiders, move the camshaft, and move the brake chambers to go with the bigger brakes. It’s not a small job.
I guess theoretically you could get some custom wheels that are 22.5 but have the 17.5 bolt pattern, they may even make such a wheel, but I’ve never seen them.
Possible to convert 17.5 over to 22.5

They make a 22.5X8.25 with an 8 lug bolt pattern, I'm not sure it the bolt circle is the same.
-
Looks like they are the same. 8 hole, 275mm bolt circle 221 mm bore.

I doubt I will jump on the disc wagon yet. I don't feel there are enough of them to justify the hope that someone has parts for them. But I may just save up and get two axles completed and swap them out. My guess is since its an open spread the fitment shouldn't be an issue. And I will see on the deck height. He claims to have gotten them because he hauled air seeders and with the 17.5s, he stayed under 14' tall. Which doesn't require escorts

Height is much more dictated by deck beam height and road clearance, I just speced a Talbert with a 18 inch deck height with 275 rubber.Dirty-Low-Walker, SAR and stwik Thank this.

I have a Talbert HT 35 with 22.5, the deck height is 40 inches vs 36" with the 17.5, it came from the factory with the 22.5's.

Your deck height is 40"? Step deck aren't that tall.SAR Thanks this.

Yeah it kinda surprised me too when i called the dealer before i purchased it, i noticed in the ad that it had 22.5 wheels and asked them about the height knowing most have 17.5 that are advertised as having a 36" deck.
