    Yes, it does have the "V", but if you don't hit pretty close to the center of the "v", the safety pin isn't going in. Usually you can "walk" the trailer over to center things up by lifting the deck off the ground and setting it back down a couple of times, if you are a little off.

    Trailkings and xl's are the same way center it up with the hydros. I've also been known to pick the deck just off the ground and back the whole unit up one while turning to center up. I've pulled one eager beaver and it was awesome in that it would drop the center pin in a twist of off center but it did have a lot of slop.

    Fontaines are a different story. Those you pretty much have to hit dead on.
