Er, no..but I was married to a well-endowed woman back then..

What is the speed limit over there? you would be beside your self with bordom here where the speed limit is 90km/h or about 55mph and the cops are around every corner just waiting.
-
yes I agree with you Rick G speed limiting is dangerous if you are having to take bigger risks to get past some slow car driver that has his brain in the glove box or is asleep doing half the speed limit
-
The speed limit is 100km/h . Limiters will be set at 105 km/h . To some that sounds reasonable . The problem is trucks will go 105 km/h on flat ground . On hills trucks will attempt to pass a heavier truck , will not complete the pass by the top of the hill , and the slower truck will regain speed and they will run side by side . At the next hill they will slow all traffic behind them .
-
I hear what you are saying, It's always good to have something up your sleve incase you get slower traffic that is only doing a few k's slower nothing like frustration.

I couldn't understand half the babble in this report. Even if it was finished before this bill was voted I doubt it would have much effect.
They need to make laws against holding up traffic. Crap like this is what causes accidents. -
I've seen crap like this with speed limited trucks running side by side . What's the point of one Werner truck trying to pass another Werner truck temporarily going 2 m.p.h. slower then running beside it for 5 miles running below the speed limit holding up all other traffic ?
-
I would have to say the real problem is traffic flows at about 120 kph and the police don't do anything about it. I worked as a dispatcher for two local police department and they set the radar at 20 over the limit. Now you have to drive the truck at a significantly slower speed than traffic. -
Watch what happens on highways like the 402 where they only have 2 lanes in each direction . A lot of truck drivers are going to stay in the left lane .
