That's 2400 miles (if leaving from Cleveland) not 3k like you claim AND it's only about 12 hours a day for a four day work week. A determined hard worker could have that done in 3 days legally most of the time. If they were leaving from Cincinnati it wouldn't even be 2000 miles so an über gravy run IMO. Someone of your work ethic caliber could do it in five days only working about 8 hours a day.

Walmart helped make us the modern day poster child of what's wrong. Guy takes out half a comedy club while pushing his hours but yet in perfect compliance. In fact he was beyond compliant with all the safety bells and whistles on his truck. Perhaps some flexibility in the ole stopwatch would have prevented that tragedy. Maybe not. Truth is we don't know that it would have prevented it, but what is very clear is the current regs didn't stop it. No govt study needed.
Some of you guys should really get of your high horse and realize we are not all outlaws buying truck stop Jimmie's running coast to coast. Just looking for some common sense and flexibility.
Some of us really like this industry and treat it more than just a job.Streetroddreams, Trucker61016, Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this. -
