What happened to smoke stacks?

Just doing those few upgrades gives the truck a whole new look. Definitely has a more aggressive look to it which is sweet. I dig it.

Thank you guys. Nice to see old school enthusiast still exist. Seems like these days more and more people just drive trucks and aren’t really into them or what they look like

 

It's unfortunate but that is the case. I'm 30 and I grew up around cool trucks etc and saw myself driving them one day. I've had the oppourtunity to drive some "real trucks" that were all decked out but for the most part, many companies run ugly, neutered, plastic junk. Most new drivers couldn't care less what they drive, and have no pride in that aspect of the industry whatsoever. It's disheartening to say the least. Unless you buy your own truck, it's pretty difficult to find yourself in a real, quality piece of equipment.

I drive a local/regional delivery box truck right now, and I’m the only one who cares what it looks like. It’s just a basic white truck, but I do my best to keep her clean inside and out. I take pride as if it were my own, while co-workers leave garbage everywhere and never run a hose over anything.

I even refinished the drab grey rusted wheels in silver enamel by hand, and nobody at work even noticed. But I notice, and that’s what matters!

 

That’s freakin awesome. I would do the same thing by cleaning that up. Came out great

 

100k miles in a year is pretty average for guys at big carriers. I picked up my current truck (brand new) Nov 14th. It has 43 thousand miles on it today.

 

I drive a straight truck sometimes, a pos Columbia. Anyways it’s got a Detroit 500 in it and it and the exhaust dumps right under where I sit. It’s the loudest truck to ride in for no reason. Why did you think that was a good idea to not put a stack on? and when you’re rolling coal it looks ridiculous.

You can’t tell if the truck is on fire or what because it’s not normal for trucks to have black smoke rolling out from under them entering the freeway. Lol I have a love hate relationship with that truck. It hauls ### and doesn’t take def but I am deaf at the end of the day and stink to high hell.

 

The guy driving the truck on top gets more chicks and moves onto open deck. Guy on bottom is that every other trucker you see at the pilot running for a mega. True story.
