Hello, I have a question?

I have a CDL but owe money to the company that help me get it. Does anyone know if Robertson's require the school papers because of my lack of experience or will my CDL be sufficient? The reason I'm asking is because their are some companies that ask for such paper work. Also, what does the test with Robertson's consist of and if I don't pass it will they train me?

bottomdumpin and Chinatown Thank this. -
You in Southern California?
Robertsons Ready Mix? They don't care about where you got a cdl as long as you have one. They have their own cdl school anyway, so they'll probably hire you. They'll probably road test you then put you with a trainer.

KKW Trucking in Pomona will also hire you and it doesn't matter if you went to school or not as long as you have a cdl. KKW has a training program for cdl holders with no experience.

I had a CDL and no experience when I started. they didn't care about any paperwork from where I got it.
you'll get a few weeks of training (loading and unloading, going to our plants and sources, etc) after that, you'll have to do the pretrip, skills and roadtest (just like at the DMV) even if you have your CDL already.
if you need to know more, let me know.
Chinatown Thanks this. -
If i work at robertsons and get the automatic restriction on my cdl, when im ready to move on to a new company how would i go about getting the restriction removed.

In ca there is no such thing as an "auto restriction " (I know several guys at my job that trained and tested with autos) I've personally eyeballed their license to verify
