Any new CDL driving application you can be sure that the insurance company has the deciding vote. Insurance companies tend pull the last 10 years and so if it's on the insurance records you can bet the new insurance company will find out about it. They will only be concerned with accidents in the last 2 to 5 years depending on the insurance company. The 10 year pull is for DUI charges.
I would be honest about it. That way you don't appear to be trying to lie about it.
