My hood needing painting. Rest of it nice and shinny. Flaking on front. Any good places to get this done.

It depends on where you're located, but what ever shop you choose make sure they use DuPont Imron 5000 or equivalent, if you want the shine and paint to last.

I Googled Semi Truck Body Shop in Baytown, Tx and there's a few places in Houston, but I don't know how good they are.

The best thing to do is get a few estimates and go from there.

No matter where you go, it's not going to be cheap.

Paint and materials is expensive and if your paint is flaking, the old paint has to be stripped.

To sand down and paint the complete hood with paint, materials and labor, you're probably looking at least $2k, if there's bodywork involved, like cracks in the SMC, even more money.
