Violation of FMCSR

I don't think it is a violation. However I would only drive it with this damage until you can get to either a terminal or a TK dealer.

 

No dont drive it. tell them you want a brand new three bulk head great dane or you quit. its time us drivers stand up and shut america down. if they try to threating you. call your local us marshall office. or carry a gun in the truck. its legal

 

It's tacky looking and probably a major embarrassment to drive but I don't think it's illegal.
If no engine parts are falling out on the ground you're good to go.

I see lots like that. I don't think it's illegal. As long as what's left of that door doesn't fall off.
I've seen them where almost the entire cover is missing lol.

 

Your missing about 20 bungee straps and a half pound of scotch tape on that unit.

 

How do they write that up for a violation, it isn't one. There is nothing that the fmcsa regs says about reefers and the covers on them.
