I don't think it is a violation. However I would only drive it with this damage until you can get to either a terminal or a TK dealer.

It's tacky looking and probably a major embarrassment to drive but I don't think it's illegal.
If no engine parts are falling out on the ground you're good to go.

I've seen them where almost the entire cover is missing lol. -

How do they write that up for a violation, it isn't one. There is nothing that the fmcsa regs says about reefers and the covers on them.brian991219 Thanks this.
