Why do you need jumpers..Must be running an amp i assume..
Unless your running big power the 400 is overkill by alot..To be honest i would run 400uf and i dont run an amp..

Snuck it past ya earlier. In pic and text. RM Italy KL-203.
I have several vehicles with which to equip with CB. This big truck one of three. Coax jumpers sort of like zip ties: need a fair number for the different rigs and placement issues.
My understanding of LMR-400 is it’s increased flexibility. Tighter turns. Haven’t taken time to confirm; just working off of memory.
Edit: Bells CB carries LMR 400 in a variety of length.
Half of this is thinking aloud. What designation coax, and, “what to do with hearing AM radio broadcast”? good examples.
Called RoadPro tech support on Francis coax jumper harness length, but haven’t heard back. (Why am I not surprised). I won’t place an order for a standard or custom co-phase harness till I’ve heard their reasoning and checked the Sherman vid.
I start a 34-reset today and will be back in truck on Saturday. If I finish cleaning interior and getting truck washed at Penske on schedule, I’ll get other pics as above (cable routing and mount).Last edited: Mar 22, 2018

That's weird getting signals from commercial AM stations. Sounds like they need better crystals to stop the splatter

Do you get enough benefit from co-phasing to make it worthwhile, especially in a lease with picky landlords? -
If you go with the 400 make sure its the ULTRAFLEX....The lmr 240 is almost the same as 400...The 240 has a smidge more loss a smidge less vf and cant handle the same power as the 400 which is over 1.5 kw..
Slowmover1 Thanks this. -
May get thru Santone tomorrow. If so, a stop at Clays. Will move rig back down to dash. And get Craig his pics.
I searched (and watched coax vids) and found no mention of using 240 in a cophase. Sources? ThxLast edited: Mar 28, 2018

Fine tune doesnt carry the 240 for cophaseing(75 ohm) he just has the 240 for single(50 ohm).....Everything else is pretty much the same..Same tune(for each antenna)and gotta be 108"apart or it will affect performance..Gotta study up on that myself..
Got an idea from a pal of mine about mounting ant on back of the cab with a custom brack that will get both ant up and away from trks flairings but out back/along side.... -
As single, sure. Did Google search as well for cophase.
The dual antenna on the International condo sleeper backside was greatly better than the FL thin film once I installed the ProComm Quad antennas. . (See pics that thread). And no overhead interference.lauritsen132 Thanks this. -

Don’t know how with phone. Thread title was International LT. Dec or Jan
Had to wait all day to get unloaded. Parked out front of Clays tonight until they open at 0800 tomorrow. -
Got to Clays after waiting overnight. Taking overhead back to stock was worse than install. Don’t recommend it.
