Should be a switch on the dash. Should be labeled.
BUMBACLADWAR Thanks this. -
Looked all over can't find anything
-
Might not be equipped with one.
BUMBACLADWAR, TallJoe, JReding and 4 others Thank this. -
Not all trucks have an engine brake believe it or not.

It's a 2005 so it probably has those paddle switches that have all the writing worn off them and your left with nothing but white spots.
May I suggest you just start pushing buttons till you find the one that operates the brake.Lepton1, motocross25 and hagarcobra Thank this. -
Usually on the engine! But the switch is on the dash...if it has one.Feedman, spyder7723 and Big_D409 Thank this.

Haha,my point from Volvo thread has been proven!
No problem finding Jake brake switch in 2005 Volvo
.
OP,that switch is probably under passenger seat
!
Or some other strange spot. -
Down low just above the cup holder. Never driven one that old, but currently they're on the bottom row next to the outside mirror heater switch. Three position toggle.
