I don't think there is a national system. The only real universal system is EZ Pass but it is mostly in the northeast and into the midwest.roadcarriers Thanks this.

Bestpass covers the whole country
Rickp and roadcarriers Thank this. -
My company uses EZPass. It has a little beeper on it for weigh stations too.

Bestpass is not really national.

Yes it is. Northeast USA to most of the California toll bridges and Texas toll roads. We left ezpass for BestPass about a year ago works great. We run all 48Last edited: Mar 30, 2018

And yes they will be expensive. They only go by number of axles. A uhaul trailer or semi trailer. Makes no difference in cost.
However getting ezpass or BestPass is the only way to keep these ridiculous toll costs manageable. The cash rate will be significantly more than toll tag rates.Last edited: Mar 30, 2018

Even Bestpass is not really national 100%. It may be better than others, but looking at the Michigan map I can see two bridges at least it doesn't work on. Well 3, but one has a 26 ton limit.
The three not listed are the Mackinaw, the Blue Water, and Grosse Ile Toll Bridge
That's just the ones I know about.roadcarriers Thanks this. -
95% are just concerned with the various toll roads anyway to include those in the middle like TX, OK, and KS and Chicagoland and either should be fine in that regard.
