The Electronic Logging Device Rule (ELD) Extension Ends in 1 Day! On April 1, 2018, Police Can Delay Your Haul by 10 Hours or More | Plaintif

This kinda really sucks. I don't think having a mandatory computer in your truck will make a difference. People will be doing what people do. Some braniac will come up with a hack app that makes your ELD think you're idle when you're not.

People who want to break HOS will break HOS. People who were always following HOS will continue to follow. The ELD requirement doesn't change ####.

it says that if you have an AOBRD, ur fine until dec next year. or if you don't have to follow HOS.

99 and older trucks are exempt as are glider kits equipped with pre 2000 engines my 2001 classic which has a build date of late 99 must have sat at factory for a while as sales were so bad back then every one including myself were buying repos only thing I can figure my Detroit 12.7 has a build of oct 1998 and it’s original to my 2001 titled so as far as I’m concerned Im exempt and I keep a copy of the law directly from DNC’s a website stipulation reads company must keep record of vehicle engine info on file

    CSA points huh?

    Let's paint a picture here........

"Lets check out the safety score of xyz trucking before we use them "

"Wow,Look...He has points from a ticket he got for not having an ELD But having paper logs"

"I think we'll use him...He'll get the job done correctly"

New Mexico port between Dalhart and Tucumcari asked me what kind of eLog unit I was running a few days ago. That's a new move.

Even though I run paper logs, I just read your posts and just cringe. You just think that you are so special because you run a paperlog. You probably run an old truck and think it makes you a bad###. Get over yourself
